We unexpectedly bought a home in Deakin, and on moving in a week and a half ago quickly discovered it required cooling. As I am heavily pregnant, getting it fixed became a priority.

Just a quick note to say thank you to you and the installation team for our air conditioner, which was fitted today. It is obvious it is more efficient and capable when cooling a large area than the previous unit we had. The staff were friendly, efficient and only took 2 hours for the entire project. Just had a young electrician Ben here on job. Very professional and polite young bloke. A good rep for your company. Just thought you should know.
Late Wednesday (10/02/2016) afternoon I send an email request re problems with my hot water system. Just after 9:00 the following morning I received a call from “Tom” and it was arranged that a staff member would visit my home – within the hour as promised “Darrell” arrived on time, inspected the dying hot water system, suggested a suitable replacement and issued a quotation which was duly accepted.
He stated that replacement may be possible the same afternoon or maybe the next morning (today). Early in the afternoon a received a call to inform me that the new heater would arrived within 15 minutes. This occurred and “Andrew” along with his trusty electrician (the persons name escapes me) proceeded to install same.
By 3.00 all was complete and the two installers departed. The entire process from my initial email to completion took less than 24 hours and was completed in a professional and tidy manner by friendly and helpful staff. How good is that?
As an aside I had obtained a quote from elsewhere for twice the price by some very unhelpful and unprofessional people Please pass on my thanks and keep up the good work.
Last Friday 1 May 2015, my wife and I had a new Rinnai 26 Hot Water system expertly and efficiently installed at our townhouse at Greenway.
From the time we asked for the ActewAGL Energy Shop to provide us with a quote. prepared by Daffell on the spot, then setting up an appointment for removal of the old Vulcan system and replacing it with the new Rinnai, the whole project ran smoothly.
Tom of the Hodson Group turned up on time at 8:30 am and then spent several hours diligently installing the new system. About 11:45 am the electrical team from Vaultelectric, comprising Josh and Alex, arrived to do their complementary work.
All of them were courteous,very diligent, helpful and professional at all times. It was noted during the installation phase that the switchboard was old and did not have today’s important safety features in place so that was replaced on the spot too without any fuss.
We are already strongly recommending the Energy Shop etc to our friends and neighbors.

Can’t fault ActewAGL customer service at Fyshwick at all. We had done our homework, knew what we needed for continuous hot water with the Rinnai infinity. Walked into their showroom at 11:00am on a Saturday, greeted, the first bloke said he wasn’t the expert on them, told us a bit about solar, continuous and tanks and the prices installed.
The expert then attended to us, we told him where we lived, said no problem, we can install on Monday, over to the counter, 30 seconds of paperwork and at 11:1oam we are walking out of there feeling so much warmer already!
Good customer service and knowledge of your products goes such a long way in a city like Canberra.
